TAI TAPU EVENT CENTRE, RHODES DOMAIN, 722 OLD TAI TAPU ROAD
What an amazing couple of days we experienced to kick off our series. Graced with a Dame, a Professor, a couple of Doctors and more importantly our collective, those that work with our whanau at their heart every day. Speakers, song, stocktakes, timers and shout outs, our thinking stretched, puku full and wairua strong so what next?
Three one day follow up workshops
Scheduled for the 22, 29 November and 5 December, we have our 3 one day dedicated workshops that will focus on the key main themes of Supervision, Cultural Competence and Evaluation. Building on the stocktakes and action plans developed in our first wānanga, these 3 one day workshops will involve rōpū working on the change you consider to be most important for your organisation.
What can you expect?
For those of you who attended our first session this will be the same recipe of engaging speakers, mentoring and real skill development with a more in-depth focus on the kaupapa at hand. Each workshop will:
Inspire – we will have a dedicated keynote speaker – an experienced practitioner – who will be with us for the whole day.
Empower – we will have a series of quick fire real time, real space feedbacks to both ground the discussion in real practice and showcase current practice.
Challenge – we will challenge your thinking with a healthy dose of provocation.
Action – there will be mahi! You know this, we will be working on the change priorities that you identified as important to you in our first two days together.
We encourage you to take the time to invest in you and your people’s development.
Fortify your spirit and recharge your commitment to change for our people.
Be part of the journey, come along and connect at Te Matau a Māui.
